In order to perform the connection to the network and start synchronizing, you must replace the ‘peers.dat’
file from your ‘VirtacoinPlus’ folder with this peers.dat. Once replaced, start the wallet again.
For Windows only:
Until the release of the new version, we’re using a trick to run the wallet: 4Gb_Patch. It’s a small tool that allows 32bit executable applications that need a large amount of virtual memory to run on x64.
Double-click 4gb_patch.exe and add the executable VirtacoinPlus-V3.0.0.exe. In order to have an updated up and running XVP wallet faster, this VIDEO explains.
Synchronizing the wallet from scratch will take up to 7 days or more. To limit the long wait, you can download a fresher blockchain:
Replace ‘txleveldb’ folder, ‘blk0001.dat’, ‘blk0002.dat’, etc. file in your ‘VirtacoinPlus’ folder and you will enjoy a much shorter sync time (about an hour). The path to ‘VirtacoinPlus’ folder is: C: \ Users \ {your_username} \ AppData \ Roaming \ VirtacoinPlus
You can get to ‘VirtacoinPlus’ folder from START – by right-clicking the ‘windows’ icon in the bottom-left corner of your screen (in taskbar), choose ‘RUN’. In Run new window just popped-up, type %appdata% and click ok (enter)
